Russia Test-Fires Mobile RS-24 Yars ICBM in 6,700+ km Strategic Launch
- Strategic Test Launch: Russia conducted a test launch of a mobile, solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on 28 August 2026 from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome toward the Kura Test Range in Russia's Kamchatka region. Training warheads travelled more than 6,700 km. The Russian Defence Ministry said the exercise successfully met its assigned objectives.

• Test Facilities: Plesetsk Cosmodrome – Arkhangelsk region | Kura Test Range – Kamchatka region
